Gessy Alvarez is founder and editor of the literary and visual arts website, Digging Through The Fat. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA program in Writing. Her prose has appeared in Volume One Brooklyn, Entropy, Drunk Monkeys, Literary Orphans, Pank, and other publications.

Sana Hussain is a poet born and raised in Queens, NY. The majority of her work revolves around love – as she believes it to be the most human experience there is – as well as feminism, mental illness, and being a first generation New Yorker. She can be found on Tumblr posting half-finished poems, and on stages trying to face her stage fright. She is a real estate agent by day, poet by night.

Julia Phillips writes about Russia. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Glimmer Train, The Antioch Review, and The Toast, while her nonfiction has appeared in BuzzFeed, Jezebel, and Slate. She is a former Fulbright fellow in creative writing.

Stephanie Rogers was educated at The Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in journals such as Ploughshares, Pleiades, Cincinnati Review, New Ohio Review, and upstreet, as well as the Best New Poets anthology. Her first book of poems, Plucking the Stinger, will be released from Saturnalia Books on October 4th.
